MINISTRY TEAM
The Ministry Team consists of the authorised ministers, lay and ordained in the Team (currently consisting of the Team Vicar, Team Curate, two Readers, three Pastoral Assistants and an ordinand in training; it is often attended by clergy with PTO). It normally meets weekly to plan the worship across the Team, to discuss and promote all matters of policy within the Team and to support the various ministers in their life and activities.
Membership is by office and this has not changed. Its members value and endeavour to practice mutual support and value the equality of status, consequently there is a high level of commitment to the group meetings, which include quiet days and social events as well as the business of the Team. It seeks to manifest the collaborative style that is at the heart of the Team vision.
The Ministry Team sees the need to further support and encourage particularly the Worship Leaders as well as other lay leaders in each community.
