Thursday 1st August 2019 12:30St Elwyn's Lunchtime Concert.St Elwyn's Lunchtime Concerts begin Thursday 30 May 12.30pm. Free entry with retiring collection. Refreshments after each concert. The series will run every Thursday. 12.30pm until 26 September. Performances last about 40 minutes. Typical week would include: Fresh local vegetables, free range eggs, locally produced organic beef, pork, sausages and bacon, artisan bread, honey, home made quiches, flowers, cards and craft. Every week a different village organisation supplies the refreshments. Tea or coffee only 50p. Cakes normally 50p.

13:30St Erth Vintage Cycle RideThis year the bike ride will start from the village picnic area opposite the church hall starting at 1.30pm Saturday August 31. The Bar will be open in the Marquee along with music “Sinatra” style from Gary and a live band new to the village “The Landing Party”. Registration with souvenir route maps starts at 1.30pm for the 3.30pm “Big Push” with Guy and the Marshalls. We are hoping to break the 100 Bike Barrier this year, so everyone counts. Hot food will be available from 5pm with cakes, savouries, soft drinks, bar drinks. Hot drinks available right through. Join in the fun and dress for the occasion. “Wacky” trophies by John and Alan for Best attired lady; Best attired gent; Best attired Junior; Best “Jazzed up” Bicycle; Best vintage bike. Enjoy the laughter, music and chat. We’ll all be there to raise funds for the village Christmas Lights.
